Odds API request calculator

Estimate hourly REST requests from event count, refresh interval and batch size. Compare your polling workload with our plan capacities.

With these defaults: 600 requests/hour. Fits the Starter request capacity.

How the estimate works

Requests per polling cycle = ceiling(events ÷ batch size). Estimated requests per hour = requests per cycle × ceiling(3,600 ÷ refresh interval in seconds). We round polling cycles up for a conservative one-hour estimate.

For 100 events, a batch size of 10 and a 60-second refresh interval: 10 × 60 = 600 requests/hour. Without batching, the same workload would use 6,000 requests/hour.

What this excludes

This estimate assumes every polling call succeeds and consumes quota. It excludes retries, event discovery, history endpoints, multiple independent clients and other API calls. Leave capacity for these in your integration. Streaming updates are outside this REST calculation and will have separate limits.

The calculator estimates request usage. It does not create an account or subscription. Review the pricing tiers.
